When you are applying for higher studies in any abroad university, it is mandatory to submit the transcripts of your academics like Diploma, B.tech and Masters.
Now, let's take a look how to get transcripts of your Original Diploma and Semester mark sheets from State Board Of Technical Education Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.
Usually Transcripts would be submitted to college in form of sets. Let me explain what is set. A set is your transcripts, that are put in one envelope. Usually people put one copy of all semester mark sheets and Original Diploma in one envelope and that is called a set.
Points to be noted before you reach out to SBTET board :
- Each semester mark sheet is called as 1 page
- Take DD worth 3000 INR (Revised on April 20th, 2019) per one set towards respective boards mentioned below.
- Telangana : Take DD in favor of " SECRETARY, SBTET. TS HYDERABAD "
- Andhra Pradesh: Take DD in favor of " SECRETARY, SBTET. AP, VIJAYAWADA "
- Decide how many copies of transcripts you need and take xerox of all the Semester and Original Diploma.
- Get threaded envelope cover ( A4 Size) based on your requirement of sets and put one set of documents in each envelope.
Once you submit the xerox copies of the Semester mark sheets/ Original diploma whatever, they will verify the documents, put stamp, get them signed by secretary and give them back to you in sealed envelop cover so please make sure that the xerox you have taken is clear, I would prefer color xerox.

Download the " PROFORMA FOR TRANSCRIPTS" from below mentioned URLs and and submit it to the transcripts department along with your originals and you can expect the transcripts on the same day if Secretary is available.

I took transcripts from SBTET AP, Vijayawada and also posted it to WES and evaluation is in progress.
ReplyDeleteIt took me exactly one whole day for my Diploma transcripts (I took 2 sets of it). Followed exactly the same process which is mentioned above and staff also co-operated very well, they waited till late evening to get secretary signature as he reached very late to office due to his busy schedule on that day.

DeleteYou need to go to TS SBTET as Khammam falls in Telangana. Just call to the mentioned number, they will at least tell where to go.

ReplyDeleteI got the transcripts duly attested from SBTET, AP (Vijayawada) recently. They have stamped and sealed on the envelope (on the flap). I took and sent to WES. But they kept on hold as they have to be sent directly by the Board and not by the individual it seems. Will the Board send directly?

DeleteHello Bro from where you have send it to WES. Did you send it from Vijayawada it self or from different place? they will look at your courier from where it is came from. It happened to my Btech transcripts. But when I sent it from where JNTU resides they have accepted it. Coming to the board sending it really doesn't make any sense they will also send in same sealed cover. Get one more set and sent it wes from vijayawada...Hope this helps it worked for me wish you good luck

ReplyDeleteYou should take 3000 DD in favour of secretary sbtet to get the transcripts , and take Seperate DD of 1400rs in favour of secretary sbtet to send the transcripts from sbtet to WES. Since WES is not accepting transcripts sent by individuals.
Required documents :
1.All semister marks memos ( Original & xerox 1set ) ( if you want only 1 set of documents)
2.seperate DDs in favour of sbtet ( 3000 + 1400 )
3.ARR form

Originals are must and you can send your friend to SBTET (preferably Father or Brother/Sister), they will tell them to have Skype call with you for confirmation. Remaining process is same
DeleteI need help. I am applying for Canada PR. Need to have Diploma transcripts to be evaluated by WES. I finished diploma in 1995 before Telangana state separation from Gudlavalleru ploytechnic (Krishna Dist.).

ReplyDeleteHere is the procedure for SBTET telangana.
ReplyDelete1. Once you apply online, pay fee 100/document, SBTET would digitally sign the pdf you have uploaded while applying. Then they will send an email back to you, or to the university you have applied for... since wes does not have open email to receive transcripts, we need to collect and post it. unfortunately SBTET hyd is not sending digital docs to wes directly.. In case you do not get email or you want to fast track the process then go to SBTET and talk to staff on 1st floor (good luck with security guard and visit timings)
2. Once you have email with digitally signed WES form and transcripts in email, get a color print of it (there is one print available opposite to SBTET/GPT). Ensure you open pdf in adobe and you see the verified signature with a green tick mark. if other pdf viewers are used then you would see a yellow question mark and this would not be valid.
3. Submit the color prints and a A4 size envelope (green cloth) to first floor computer analyst... three people need to sign it and then main controller would sign it... and things take time :)
4. Meanwhile go to India post office, go towards Mehdipatnam and you will find one on right side. so you need to take a u turn. go to international post section and ask them for CN23 customs form (need this for postage).. take 2 copies of it and get back to SBTET and give it on first floor. One person in SBTET need to sign and stamp this postal form.
5. If you are lucky you will get all this in one day :) Post it from same post office (10AM to 3PM). Charges for WES post are 1400.

Procedure to Get SBTET AP (Diploma) transcripts:
ReplyDelete1. Take DD for 3000₹ for 1 complete set of Transcripts. If you need more sets, take multiples of 3000.
For 2 sets, 6000.
2. DD to be taken in favor of
SECRETARY SBTET AP, VIJAYAWADA.
3. Go to SBTET AP head office at PrasadamPadu, Vijayawada with all your original marksheets, Diploma Certificate and Xerox copies (For Transcripts. Take as many as you need, Both Black&White and Color Xerox are accepted)
4. Take the application for Transcripts and submit it after filling it along with DD, original mark sheets, Diploma Certificate and Xerox copies. Mention mobile number on the application.
5. On a normal day, They complete the process soon, and call you. Meanwhile you can wait at the ground floor (Canteen - I wouldn't call it a canteen though).
6. Transcripts will be provided in a sealed cover.
